Why would you want one? Titanium doesn't retain heat that well. It will heat up like aluminum.
You want your exhaust to be as non-conductive as possible.
The closest your going to get is a "titanium" look muffler. There's a GOOD reason exhausts and exhaust manifolds are made of steel. Do a wikipedia search on both metals and you'll understand why it makes more sense to use steel for hot gas escape.

Another good point.
I couldn't imagine the weight savings being much more than ~20 lbs. I didn't think exhaust piping was all that heavy.

it ain't cheap, but its pretty sweet. I've wanted this for awhile for my coupe, but i can't justify it when my apex'i N1 works just fine.

Haha exactly. I guess if youre really splittin hairs for weight it makes sense, but its mostly for the bling... at least in a street car.

Extremely well. It's often used as a blade material for salt water dive knives due to its corrosion resistance.

I'm glad to see you went with the Apexi exhaust, they make good stuff. Titanium exhausts are not worth the money especially in a DD. Only people with full race cars, or people who want the mad JDM bling points on a show car would pay that much for an exhaust.

It weighs roughly 15lbs and looks deadly. The tailpipe is a little large, but it resonates the sound real good. Deep sound , but not too loud. I run mine without the silencer.

AJ racing (offical N. American J's racing distributor) is about 20mins away from my house, and I thought about getting the J's Racing 60RS Titanium Catback but it's $1200+. Way too much.
I looked far and wide fpr a Ti exhaust, and I found this one at a reasonable price. I liked it so much, I bought 2. One for myself and one to sell.
As far as I know, the one I'm selling has been discontinued.
I have a feeling it will sell in the next month, I have a few people interested.
I can even put it up on ebay if you would like. I have 72 transactions with 100
% feedback.

In the May 2000 super street issue they had the si challenge where 4 mags tuned si's and went head to head. SS relied heavily on JUN engine of japan. To stay within the $10,000 budget they custom machined several parts (labor did not count). One of those was a titanium exhaust, they valued it at $400. Knowing jun they probably used the higher purity 3al/2v ti(sourced in japan). If you went with a slightly lower grade 6/4 ti you could get that for even less. Russia is a huge supplier of inexpensive titanium. So lets say we could probably get some Russian 6/4 for around $400 with importation fees. Find a shop that does tig welding to do the fab, you theoretically could have a titanium headerback exhaust for under seven. You just would not have a fancy jdm badge on it.
