WHAT: 2007 Ohio ITR Meet

WHEN: 6pm on September 1st, 2007

WHERE: Quaker Steak and Lube off of I-71 and Polaris Parkway

This is the same weekend as the first OSU football game vs. Youngstown State and its also Labor Day weekend so come out, get rowdy for the Buckeyes, and then meet all your fellow OH ITR owners.

Spread the word to other ITR owners you know that may not frequent forums too much. I know theres upwards of 20-30 ITRs in Ohio so itd be sweet to get a good showing.

We used to have ITR meets up there several years ago. Did you call them and make sure nothing else is going on, because it can be crowded up there if some one else has an event the same time.

Ive had it posted on ITRCA since July 19th and had like 3 people respond so i didnt even know if it would happen but i figured id give this a shot. More traffic on here so who knows. All else fails, it can be pushed back.

Ill look into it. Only thing id be worried about is the after game crew strollin in since it is the same day as the first game. Thanks for the heads up.

I'd be worried about other car shows going on. That's a popular place to have shows/meets, especially an early-fall weekend.

You mean QSL in general or that particular one?

 

The one at Polaris. They always have something going on during the weekend.

Is this an ITR only meet? IMO that's the best way to have them. Keeps out the riff-raff

With the exception of close ITR community friends. I mean members like Erik95LS is more involved than i am so he better make it.

And Erik, unfortunately i dont think ill have the exhaust on by next weekend. The welder im takin it to is a lil busy for a few weeks.

That's not exactly a necessity.

 

It is when i think the flange at the resonator might fall out.

Kinda far but in my neck of the woods......maybe gotta see what going on. Coming from Lexington, KY. is that past Kings Island?

 

If I have a title, plates, insurance, etc. I MIGHT come down. I would highly suggest meeting at Mid-Ohio during the NASA Championchips Sept 14-16th. Maybe more of a commitment than most people are willing to do. Its only like 45mins from Columbus.

In it's second year, the NASA Championships will allow competitors from all over the country to battle for the most coveted National Champion title in their respective classes at one of the most demanding and prestigious road courses in the country. For drivers, this will be a unique opportunity to measure their skills against the best of the best. Spectators will have a chance to see the finest racing action NASA has to offer as well as the opportunity to participate in special events throughout the week designed to give them a taste of the action. This event will also include peripheral activities such as Auto X, Community Day at Mid-Ohio, Lap of the Track for Community Members and a Drive-in Movie.The toughest NASA competition in history will take place September 14-16, 2007 at Mid-Ohio. Come experience amateur racing at its best!

Yes, Kings Island is right outside Cincy in I71 so if you keep going up 71, youll run into Columbus. Prolly another hour and a half from KI id say.
