Default jdm b16 camshafts

im checking some out tomorrow

how can i tell the difference between jdm and usdm cams?
is there a difference between jdm b16 and b16b cams?

using a dial caliper, what are the specs?

they are for my gsr head (lsvtec)

did a search but i didnt find any specifics

as far as the b16a. all usdm b16's have the same cams. as far as the jdm, the obd0 b16 really suck, and are by far the worst of the stock cams, and the obd1 and obd2 b16's are the same, but the b16b, ctr is great though. they are just normal cams, nothing special. try to find at least, some "R" cams...

GSR cams are bigger then b16 cams.. the primaries anyway, if anything u should be upping to a stage 1..why are u goin smaller any particular reason?

awesome, thanks for the info on the cams. i know ctr's are the best and if i go ctr, i would only need the intake right?

i was only going to pick these up if they were ctr's.

You might want to upgrade valve springs with CTR cams.
ITR valve springs would do the trick.

the exhaust is different as well, so install them as a matching set... now i've heard of people only using the intake. but i say why? a good set of used ctr's ,or the later year itr's are the same, go for around $300 usually.
