yeah i tried to search but maybe didnt use the right keyword, ok well i have a 94 ls motor in a 94 civic, i started it up today and it wont rev past 3grand and i know i need a valve adjustment, but could my timing be off? The car starts and idles fine but like i said when i rev it , it doesnt seem to rev like my other ls did. what are the steps i should take?(compression check, get valves adjusted anything else...... and if my timing was off what would be the signs of forsure knowing?
