Anyone Buy a JDM ITR Front End from RandDmotorsports?? Seeing if any one had any comments on buying a kit from these guys. I wouldn't mind getting on from Mike from IPS Racing but he is charing around $500.00 more or so. I wanted to see if any bought there kit from R and D?

Both of those retailers are very reliable...I've only purchased from Mike, but I wouldn't hesitate to buy from Dave @ R&D...and if you have a problem with Mike's prices call and speak with him, as there must be a reason that he's more...either that or Dave has one sitting around that he wants to get rid of...

Thanks for the input. I guess I am trying to figure out if R and D is selling all the pieces to this kit that are need for full installment.

Because Dave @ RandD is closer to where I live so i can save on shipping and his prices are much lower

Both of the shops you mentioned are great retailers.

Your list looks complete. Make sure to get both pieces of the bumper support. There is the reinforcement and the thin metal thing the bumper goes on.

your missing the innner tire lining. Its that black plastic that prevents water from comming in.

Would you not use the lining that comes with the car? because it just runs on the bottom of the car.

 

when i was planning to get the conversion done, it was one of the parts on the list. Im not sure if you can use the one you have on your car.

have you checked to see if Mike's price is due to headlights? maybe his is HID equipped while the one you're looking at from R&D isn't, just a thought

You can either flip the latch around to accept the stock cable or youll need the 90-93 Integra hood cable.

Ive dealt with both IPS and R&D and they are both solid places to order from. If youre looking for new front ends and customer service that will be straight and honest with you, you cant go wrong either way!

you need a different hood latch cable for sure, but I've heard that you can just flip your stock hoodlatch around. I wouldn't know since I got mine used, and the hoodlatch already came mounted on the radiator support.

the JDM fender lining is a little different than the USDM one... you can modify the USDM one to fit though, I remember seeing a post showing the difference.
