SIR ef

i just picked up a si hatch with a jdm front clip. the fender moldings have a blue stripe instead of red. Is there a difference between years of the car, which would give them a blue stripe or red stripe?

I got the whole front clip with the BLUE stripe and on the VIN plate it read EF1.
