do any of you know the consequence for getting caught driving with a different vehicle tag on your car?

car will prob be impounded, and you will end up in the slammer....why would you be driving with someone elses tag?

 

I have a Civic Si Hatch and I when I had just got it I was driving on the person who sold me it's tags. Turns out it was the wrong tags for that car and my hatch wasn't even registered. Cop decided to let me off but he said I couldn't drive my car home and I'd have to park it there til I found a way to get it home. I have a swapped DOHC VTEC B16A3 and I waited til he left and drove that **** to my house and I still drove it around til I got back home. I got 6 charges on the ticket the cop gave me! Have fun getting pulled over doing that. Specially when you KNOW they're not the right tags. ^^

 

i know this sounds like the wrong thing to do but ive done it a few times. call your local police department. ull get a correct answer. i did this when my dad backed over my car with his truck and killed my hood. they told me i cant drive w/o a hood even to get a new one. they were actually very polite and helpful. i figured, why not ask the people that would be giving me the ticket anyway.
