Is there a specific HID bulb I can use to replace cheap projector bulbs?
Or can I take factory OEM bulbs and put them in projector slots?

each projector headlight has a different bulb size...normally either h1 h3 for the 7thgen projectors.

There are HID kits for every bulb size.

OEM headlight Bulbs are not the same size as the projector headlight bulbs.

 

so whats the best way of knowing what to replace the projector bulbs? Does it list or someplace on the bulb or whatever? and can I get bulbs that are not HID - will those still be bright as close to OEM or more? I just heard projector bulbs that you get from ebay suck... so...

 

OEM headlights are brighter than regular bulbs or 'superwhite' bulbs for projectors.

if your projectors came with bulbs then yes there are regular bulbs available.

projectors are not bright unless you use an HID system.

How would I figure out what size bulbs would fit into my projector?
Do HIDs last a long time? Would they be so bright that it would blind other drivers?
