I only use the soft top to keep dry in case of emergencies or when I leave it parked when I'm in work or what not.

HARDTOP IS NICE! And I hardly ever take it off, but when I do its a real treat but the soft top is only an emergency option, but non the less it allows for peace of mind. And that is something I can't put a price on.

I think the weight loss is all in your head, it wouldn't make that much of a difference with it out or if you kept it in. Personally I would pull it, but you should think about resale value, and if you could ever put it back in the same way as it was installed at the factory.

Had mine out for a long time now. Big difference.

And for the guy that took 10 hours, find a new hobby and pay someone to do your work.
