The GM 'LSD additive' is pretty good and commonly available.

yea, that is what i was thinking. i wonder if i would have to go directly to a GM dealership to get it? would i use the entire bottle and then fill the remainder with some sort of 80w90 fluid? im partial to redline right now. thanks for the help man.

Mike M. had a KAAZ at one point, and he used OEM fluid. Made a lot of noise.
When he went with the GM Synchromesh Fluid with Trans-X LSD additive, the noise went away.

I would think that the GM LSD additive would work with Honda MTF... but I am not sure.

LOL. Mike M. and I were talking, and we figure the reason GM stuff works so good is because their synchros suck. So they make a good fluid as a band-aid for shitty parts quality. LOL.

I use one bottle of Kaaz fluid and the rest BG with a little Ford friction modifier. Good feel, good protection for the clutch plates and very little noise.

I've been using Mobil 1 GL-5 hypoid, and half a bottle of redline friction modifier (without the modifier, it's very very noisy). I've been using that combo for about 6 months without problem...

i ended up using a 80w90 gear oil. specifically i used valvoline synthetic blend 80w90 gear oil and then i used that trans-x posi/lsd fluid you can get at autozone. so far so good..it used to click all the time when taking tight turns, so far it seems to have gone away. i've done very tight turns and no clicking. so im happy...and cant beat the price. ($9 for gear fluid (2 quarts) and $7 for trans-x..something like that)

oh and btw this kid that i know that works at autozone is a big domestic guy..and he uses this trans-x for his posi stuff. he says its the same stuff as the GM goo (just wayyyyyyyyyyy cheaper - dealer products always mucho dinero) and that is what he and his ppl use. so take that as u will.

Ya, God is right. A good buddy of mine who was running Kaaz heard the locking sound bad until he did a fluid change. He went with the Kaaz and the ford friction modifier. It didnt completely shut it up but it helped immensely. Wanna know what the best fluid is, get a Quaiffe

KAAZ recommends using their fluid ONLY for the their LSD's but any GL-5 75W-90 for FWD cars will do the trick as long as you change oil at regular intervals. I have been using Castrol 75W-90 for three years w/o any problems. I used HKS synthetic before that but that crap was killing my wallet!

Both KAAZ and ATS fluids are formulated for hard driving!!
