i have an ls/vtec swap. reffering to a poor mans swap, im guessing that your running and ls/vtec swap also. what kind of timming belt are you running? also what kind of water pump? is it a GS-R water pump? or is it the stock LS water pump?

the timming on these hybrid motors can be really tricky to get right. for me i never mess with timing. it leave that to the shops. it only costs 80 bucks or so to get the timming set right, and thats not just shooting the timming. you have to do the whole thing. take off and align and put back together. make sure the cams are set to zero degrees again.

i had my fair share of mistakes and at times my car was bogging like yours too. so becareful, dont push your car till you have the timming right, or you can kiss your valves good bye.

To add a more general note: I've had experiences with a similar problem to your own, and it's been suggested that my TPS is acting up. Maybe yours is as well. If you run out of ideas, you could always check that.
