Default B18C4 engine for high rev ! ( from Europe :-) )

Hello everybody !

I have a B18C4 engine. I woud like to build a non turbo high rev high compression Honda engine ! For the pistons I woud use an Arias 3330700 ( 85mm Bore, +7.4cc Dish, 13.7 Comp Ratio ).

But I have no idea for the rods ! What did you think about the Crower, Pauter I beam ultralight rods ? Are they really light ? Lighter than the stock or only lighter than the H beam ? If I know rigth the stock rods are only 305g ! I know one more rods the JGE it is from the I beam ultralight, and much cheaper than a Crower, but I dont know anything about the quality of the JGE ! http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...photo
I woudn't like to rev over 10000rpm but I need a new light weight rods but I dont know which one, the stock or a cheap I beam or the Crower I beam ?

The Crank will be stock !

Cylinder head :
Stage 3 camshaft maybe Crower but there are lot of camshaft from different makes. What shoud be the best for high comrepssion ratio ?
Of course I will need bigger oversized valves, I woud +1mm on the intake and exhaust too. Dual spring and titanium retainers ! Are there any differences at the spring and retainers from a Crower/Supertech/JGE ?

Than You !
The most important parts is the rods :-)

why would you want to rev over 10 grand? Is the B18C4 even a real motor?

OK got it now. You will never make power that high anyways. Especially with a 2.o litre.

ProA carrillo rods are what you want. GSR "R" rods are 411 grams.

So you saaid that the stock rods are 411g ?
My only problem is with the rods a good I beam is $ 700+ and if it just stronger than the stock maybe I wont need aftermarket just new arp bolts for the stock.

You might have to modify the rod to work with that piston.
