crank pulley instalation
some cars have reverse thread for the bolt on the pulley. is this the case for a 2000 prelude? im using a 200lbs. impact gun and im going nowhere in either direction.

That's your problem. 200lbs ain't sh*t. My old one was 260, and I ended up trading it in for a 550 because it was just too weak. Didn't have the money for the 750 or 1000 IR I wanted, but mine seems to work fine for me so far

Get a better gun or buy the pulley holder tool+ 1/2 breakover bar+ 4ft cheater bar= works everytime. The thread is regular righty tighty/lefty loosey
It's taken as much as 600 ft*lbs on a breaker bar to remove a crank pulley bolt on some timing belt jobs I've done. A 200 ft*lb impact isn't even going to touch the crank pulley bolt since the stock torque spec is 182 ft*lbs.
BTW, the crank pulley bolt has RH threads.
