need to re-build my tranny....where do i start?
i had to swap in my friends 89 si tranny because my 91 si tranny grinds bad in third and would not go into 1st smooth. i know there are kits out there for like 150 bucks that comes with new sincros and gears. i have never opened a tranny and would not no where to start. what special tools do i need and what is some special care i should take.

only 3 "special tools" needs
1) Helms
2) 8mm allen wrench
3) Craftsman #45492 snap ring pliers
you'll need a 30mm socket if you plan on changing the synchros.
