had a problem with the car turning off on me while in park or when shifting into reverse. The problem has gotten worse now and the car will actually turn off while rolling so i went to autozone and scanned it. It read code p1738 for shift time error. What do i need to do to fix this problem. Says probable causes are
1. open or short cicuit condition in 2nd clutch pressure switch
2. poor electrical connection
3. failed 2nd clutch pressure switch
was thinking about taking it to the shop as i am not familiar with any of these problems but is this simple stuff that i can fix on my own?
