Tint or not?!
At my new job I've been parking my car outside in the sun. I really don't want my seats and interior to fade. So I've been covering my front seats with some fabric I bought from walmart, and folding my rear seats down. But it's just a pain and it only protects the seats. I like how clean it my car looks without tint (it's black), but I want to keep my interior from looking like crap. What do you guys think? Maybe a few of you could post up a few pics of black tegs w/ tint. Thanks
Last year I had the same concerns. Seeing the tops of the rear seats starting to fade convinced me to get tint, 35% all around except windshield. The tint blocks 98%-99% of UV rays, which does help when driving, too. I have to wear sunglasses when it's bright regardless though.
i had full limo tint all around my ride before, it looks very aggressive, but at night i had to roll them down when I saw cops! even in the cold, rain, and etc not to get a ticket! LOL

However, if you do tint don't go for the darkest possible. Get your UV benefits, but don't bring on any unwanted attention with the dark stuff.
I voted for yes, although I would never. But I have a CW.

I got 35% on the sides & rear. It has a bronze mirror reflective look but legal. It has saved the interior from fading not to mention it's so much cooler in the hot Alabama summer.
Here, this is what you need if you are on the fence about tint. They have a clear tint that blocks like 95% UV rays. Once I get my 4dr back, I will be getting some of this tint installed.

I trully believe the 35% metalic tint keeps out more heat than the 5% limo tint. I've had both and like the mirror tint much more. But's thats just me.

Tinted windows with the rain guards look pimp IMO. Never got around to doing it myself since I have had bad experiences with tint. I need to find someone who does an awesome job in my area.
