Vaccume leak/ground wire?
While driving in traffic today my car started to jerk/bog then it would lose power, then comback.A few seconds later it stalled and then wouldnt want to start. After waiting a few mins,it started again after i gave it some gas and i nursed it to a safe location.
When i opened the hood i noticed that the two vaccume caps were blown off near the back of the TB.After capping them off the car ran and idles fine. However later i noticed that my ground was not connected near the back corner of the valvecover by the power steering hose(were that "U" type bracket is).
Do you guy think the bog/hesistation was more due to the ground or the vaccume caps coming off?

Vacuum caps off = high and/or hunting idle, maybe cause the jerking... but a bad ground could make any number of electrical things go crazy.
Well the car drove fine for a day then tonight while driving on the eway the car would bog, lose power then come back in spurts of like 1-3 seconds for like an hour untill the car died and wouldnt start.A friend was driving behind me and said he could smell alot of gas following me.
Luckily i had my stock ecu and switched that and it did the bog twice but ran fine.Could this be an ignition of fuel problem?
