UGHHH....07 CRV MAKING ANOTHER NOISE
I swear as much as I love this car I sometimes wonder if I got a lemon. Ok let me run this one by you guys. My wife came home yesterday and told me the crv is making a very slight grinding noise when you moving the car from drive to park. I decided to test it out myself this morning and when I first started the car I didnt hear a noise but noticed after a 20 minute drive to work sure enough when shifting
the gear from drive to park it makes a very very slight grinding type noise. It does it when you move it from drive to neutral, neutral to reverse, and reverse to park. Here is the weird thing at work I park on a flat surface so I dont use the e-brake. When I put the car in park and slowly let me foot off the break the car will make a slight back and forth motion but it makes that same slight grinding noise when it moves back and then again after it moves forward. I hate to keep going to honda every couple of weeks with a new issue. I just cant figure out if this type of noise is the tansmission or something else. FWIW I dont get any noise at all while driving or the tranny is changing gears.

1. the griding noise..
now when you were shifting betweens gears were you on a incline or downward slope...I know when you are on a elevated surface and shifting between gears the transmission shifts hard and may sound like its grinding but this is common in any automatic vechile
2. slight back and forth motion
now are you stopping to park and jsut throwing into park ( because the momentium of your car and suddenly stopping and/or parking is going to make it do that ) or are coming to an complete stop on a level area and then putting into gear....
got to say man.....have mine for a couple of months and has been drivin in mult situations and never had a problem......but there will always that "one" car out of 100 or so.....
