Default K20A2 and K20Z1

Did some searching and found out a lot about the differences between the 02-04 A2's and the 05-06 Z1's... now my question is if I were to do a swap into my EP3, would the Z1's be a problem? Anyone with more info on the differences between the A2 and Z1 swap into an EP? Or any advice on which to get? Any info would be great~~ Thanks

I don't think there would be a problem with the engines themselves, but I'm not an expert on K swaps.

You might have a fiasco with the ECU as there is a difference in wiring between the A2 and Z1 ecu's

Another thing I am aware of is that on the transmissions, the A2 reports speed one way and the Z1 does it a different way, so the two aren't interchangeable. I'm pretty sure that the Ep3 uses the same speed sensor setup as the A2, but don't quote me on that.

Thanks for the info mucter... I guess it's just safer to go A2 then... just for the heck of not knowing what the f$%@ I'm doing anyways... hehehe

First time modding a car... never really wanted to mod my ITR when I had it because I was spending too much time driving it and didn't want to mod the 350Z because I didn't have a mountain of cash up my @ss... hehehe
