i found an ls shell for 500 dollars. has all the glass bumper hood etc. all the body parts. still has the brakes and is sitting on donuts currently. its missing interior motor and trans. about how much would it cost for me to fix this car up and get it running agian?

 

id say about $ 1500 for the motor and 500 bucks for all the misc..

 

You can find a junky LS motor for $500 and rebuild it... It might come out to $1200 (estimate), as for interior, you can find it real cheap...

You must have raced, um stock Hondas???

 

Since you're in Jersey I would say go to Engine Depot in Kearny, NJ. I know a few people have picked up Nissan and Honda motors from there and you'll save a couple bucks on shipping.

 

The real question here is, what are your plans for this car?

my plans are to take this car http://cnj.craigslist.org/car/393784227.html and sand down the paint, fiix all the dents and body stuff myself. i have a painter than can do my car for 500 and just redo it black...gsr or itr interior(depending on $$$) drop it, b18c1.......im guessing and pricing it out and i should be able to do it for 7g's but who knows all the miss. things im not accounting for and what not

You could get this car running for less than half of that price, Prob around $3,000. To start making it nice however is where you will run into the big bucks. (ITR interior, Paint & body work)

well my buddy will be painting the car so all im going to need to pay for is matireals

 

um depending on the interior color and finding the color you want but id say probably 2500
