Hello.
Can anyone tell me what the difference between these two clutches is??
P72 710
and
P72 69
Where do they fit? Where (which model) do they belong to originaly? What year?
???
Thank you very, very much.
For sure, here are some pictures.
On the left, the new one and on the right my 70tkm orig. Integra R (1998) clutch.

the older one. you can see the reason for changing: the spring was sprung out, so to say: itīs broken.

the newer one (which we changed to the Stage 2 clutch)

and here, the stamped in numbers to compare...
P72 710 (not very sharp
)

P72 69

I hope you can help me.
The reason for asking this is:
My orig. 98 spec clutch was very good, never sliped and never smoked - nor either on race track. But it broke this april on the Nordschleife-Nurburgring (Carfreitag - Car friday). So I gave my car in mean well hands to an Honda garage. But they did just crap to my car.
They destroyed a rim + tire
burnt 0,3-0,4l of oil on about less than 20km (test drive) [revved it high with cold oil
)
sprayed the engine bay from the axeles (axle manchette?) with fat
The clutch was wrong in, it was not centered.... a few bolts were not almost enough boltend (one bolt came of at 120km/h - the bolt from the tranny in direction to the splashwall, that keeps the motor not to fall over) ....
and so one.. there is so much to say, so letīs keep it short: they handled with my car like a rusty, old, piece of sh*t ..... they even did not know what an "Integra" is.....
I act in that case with my lawyer and my consultant/expert .... itīs very difficult to explain in english, because my vocabulary is very bad with all these special words.
So please help me to find out what clutch they mounted in my car
regards from germany, Christian

does no one know anything?
if someone replaced his clutch with an aftermarket one, i think it will be helpful to let me know what number is on it...

P72 is stock pressure plate (the stronger version) GSR, Type R, etc. The remaining numbers are date or batch codes. Discs look the same (stock FCC parts).</TD></TR></TABLE>
I would definately say that this would qualify as an educated response folks.

Man I wouldn't trust 2/3 of the mechanics in Germany to work on any vehicle. I know of at least 10 instances in the past year with crap like this. And the crazy thing is you can't tell anyone about it. If you cost them business they can slap you with a slander lawsuit.
