Default ITR handling

I read a lot about the handling of the ITR. Supposedly, its one of the best handling front wheel drive cars made. The lateral acceleration is .91 g's. If that is correct, that means that it is the same as the honda s-2000 and also the same as the older body m-3. How good is it actually? I am thinking about getting the S03 pole position tires. Please comment. Thanks!

Lateral G does not mean everything. Body weight and chasis stiffness all play a big part when you throw in at a corner.

S03 is good all around, but if it's the handling issues, I would suggest you go with Azenis which have stiffer sidewalls. I have S03s...so I know.

So to answer you question... no it doesn't handle like a M3. It handles much, much better than a M3.

You should also take into account slalom and the fact that R's are on much smaller footprinted tires than everything they are compared to.

Very true. You slap on some wider wheels, and some 225 falkins, and I'd bet money you're gona hit the 1G mark.
