94 Accord 2.2 trouble code help
i'm in need of help... i'm not a regular here so sorry in advance.
my friend has a 1994 2.2L accord wagon.
he gets an error 49 from the engine light after jumping the service connector. i did a quick search here and i was not able to find this code... can someone help?

My list doesn't contain 49. Maybe have him describe the sequence of flashes. Especially long & short flashes & how long are the pauses between them.
4 short / pause / 9 short = code 4 & code 9
4 = CKP sensor
9 = CYP sensor
... both of which are inside the distributor.
I haven't heard anyone talk about error codes that exist in Canada cars but don't exist in the corresponding USA cars. But ????
