Default wheels and slick size need help

ok there is still some time before the track season is over and im almost finished my build and still want to t ake it to the track a couple times. the car is a 99 honda prelude, built turbo, hoping to put down somewhere between 450 and 500. i understand that street tires are useless so i want to get a pair of slicks for the track. now my question is: since im very new to slicks.

what rims and tire size should i run. and whats the most cost efficient wheel to purchase. i was thinking 300zx tt rear wheels cause they are 8.5 inch, but they are hard to find. so any recomindations on tires and rims please. thanks for the help

First of all, with that much HP, you're most likely going to need to run a 24.5x8.5x15 slick at least. So which means, you're going to need a rim thats about 8" wide.
Next you need a rim that will clear the calipers and with the right bolt pattern. As far as OEM wheels that are 8" and with the same bolt pattern as you have, I dont know any of the top of my head. The only choice I know are either Weld Racing wheels or Custom Bogart Racing wheels.
