you want to add weight to make your car lighter....Makes perfect logical sense?

strut bars, sway bars,, shocks springs.
Take out the seats, sparetire, floor matting, panels, go on a diet.

no you don't understand thats all been done already, basically what i want to know is what do i have to reinforce before i start taking chunks out of my unibody, you know to maintain the structural integrity of the car and i know my little thing says im a "noob" but that just means i spend more time working on my cars than on this forum so please don't treat me like the dumb *** kid down the street rollin in the Hyundai with a fart can and a body kit

You have to reinforce the area you're taking the chunk out of. I don't see how you will get weight reduction this way.

I would imagine if you have as much experience working on cars as you claim you might you should be able to figure it out on your own.

Not trying to get on your case or anything but just stating it.

Most (99%) of the accord owners do not have a cage and weight reduction to the degree you're referring to. It just doesn't really happen with accords.

My suggestion is to look at the interior of the car and map out what you want to do, I have never seen anyone with a "How To:" on how to strip the **** outta your car.

You can only go so light with accords, so strip what you dont need and go with it...
