Default wearing the inside of front tires + saggy coils

Well ya. I have a 90 HB. She is at 160K now. I got her 3 years ago at 95K.

I put tires on her in Feb of this year, with 12-15K miles since then I the fronts are shot I blew one out (pass side) the driver side is not far behind. I have had Fire stone do my alinement every 10K every 3rd oil change. They say every thing is in spec. I say look at the tires. They say if you got them here we would prorate them. I am thinking about letting them sponsor my front tires from now on.

The only thing I can think of is the car is stock height. The pass side is ok, the diver side is sagging alot 2+ inches with out 265lbs driver. With me letts say we do not rub but I have to take drive ways SLOW or i do.

1)So is the tire prob related to my saggy coils?
2) Should I replace the coils agin way?
2a)If so where do I look? Ebay has some cheapies for $40 shipped, but the $50, $60 ones look more , umm "More better?"

Thanks Chuck

If you know you have sagging springs, get them replaced. Suspension geometry is directly responsible for tire contact. Also, your front end may be aligned properly, that doesn't mean that your toe-in is set properly. Have they provided you with a printout of your actual camber/caster/toe-in readings before and after alignment? Some places like to cut corners.

have them do an alignment with you in the car. im wondering how much of a difference it would be.

its really due to the toe change as ride height changes.

id like to see those printouts too.

I have a Lifetime Alinement with them. I $160 once. They have done atleast 4-5 alinements in the last 60K. I do not know how many of the print outs I have, I do have some. But they say it is ALWAYS in spec. But once the last time, They said I need tie rods and ball joints. I did those myself in Feb 07. And got 4 tiresand rims for $40 Craig's list .

So it is advisved that I do get new coils, are the ebay ones unsafe? Such as these

did you go back and get an alignment after you installed those tie rods??

and no, do not buy those cheap coilovers. they are good for nothing but ruining your suspension. buy some real springs. eibach, neuspeed, h&r, whatever.

I'd go back, get it done again, or just get an actual printout of your readings so that they can prove that it's within spec.
