which model EG's came with black leather interior stock?

my brother's got one. it's a 93cx hatch but stock it had black leather interior. he recently threw away the front buckets that were black and in great condition(no rips or tears) for tan cloth LS seats . i just want to be able to tell him with some kind of proof that he threw away something that was really good and that he should've just given them to me. so i could sell them to someone more deserving.

will you guys let me know?
this includes canadian eg's

and if you're wondering why he would do such a thing he's a ricer.
evo5 style bodykit, white 18" tenzo R rims, alltezza's, projectors, z3 fenders horrible candy red paint job. oh and everything's molded

I don't know which models but from what I've gathered they are few and far between. Your bro through out some rare seats I believe.

But why Tan cloth? That seems like it would look goofy IMO.

^^^^even canadian civics? and the car was completely stock when he got it. no wheels, exaust, intake, nothing. and from what i've seen when you swap gsr seats into any civic the bolts don't line up for the front buckets and and there's a gap in the back seats where they fold down. correct me if i'm wrong you guys?

you guys are a morans black leather came in fucken gsr integras. Eg hatch and dc coupe are interchangeable almost everything bolts right up including interior

 

sure it was leather and not vinyl? Most of the cx's i have seen had black interior with dark grey cloth seats.. either something happened and a previous owner had them re covered because of burns or stains, or they were vinyl.

 

yep..i'm positive it is leather. front and back seats were leather along with all interior panels except headliner.

 

I have a CX with black interior. Not cloth. Its vinyl totally stock. Honda was too cheap to put actual leather in the Civic. So they put the next closest thing , vinyl.

 

can you post a picture of your interior so i can compare?

But not all GS-Rs had leather, much less black leather (they also came in beige, depending on the year). They were also not the only trim with leather or even black leather.

As far as 5th gens with leather though... it wasn't a factory option. If you have a Civic with leather, it was a dealer option or another previous owner had the seats reupholstered. If it was a dealer option, the dealer just sent the seats to a business and had the seats reupholstered. That goes for "Si leathers" and del Sol leathers too. Leather wasn't even just an option for the Si. Any car could get it.

Only way that DC2 seats will bolt up on all 4 sides in an EG is to swap rails, otherwise you would only be able to mount 3

 

My 93 SI hatch has an all black interior, but the seats are cloth, with a Grey center section.

Let me tell you, its hard to find black replacement parts for those cars!
