I need help finding out how to fix my fuel gage. I have a stock 1.5 L. crx. My fuel gage and temp gage quit working but my temp gage does work every once in a while. But the main problem is my fuel gage. It is stuck at completely empty but it was topped off many times, so it is full. How can i fix or check to see what the problem could be.

 

 

I didn't take the pump out but i did jump the wires and it did go up, but when i put it back together ity still aint working. I called advanced auto parts and they can get the whole fuel pump for over 200 dollars, oh yea BOCH brand. What should i do? Is it too exspensive and can i just get the sending unit by itself?
