Neo = fancy VAFC

you have a honda no reason to not get a real managment program and make real power for nearly the same price.

power comes from controlling timing and fuel independently piggyback controllers do not allow this.

O.K.

As someone who tunes cars for a living, the A'pexi NEO can be right or wrong for your application.

The NEO works VERY well on V6 powered Honda's, and we've seen some no B.S. 20+ whp midrange gains from cars with intakes alone. Peak gains usually nestle in the 8-14whp mark.

I seem to have good luck with these things, as most of the 4cyl B's and D's make more power everywhere, and we usually see gains from 5-15whp.

This is a great unit for use with all of the bolt ons, and it ties everything together and makes the car both faster and smoother.

The NEO isn't optimal for camshafts, hi comp pistons, turbos, etc. NEVER use it with nitrous. This is where the full access ECU's are king, and always will be.

In short, the NEO is a great unit for bolt ons, and we have made excellent gains (and in the case of turbo Nissans, UNREAL gains), but for anything serious go with the S300, Crome or something with full control over the engine's functions.

When I get to the shop tomorrow, I'll try and post up some graphs.

^

can't deny that you would get better gains for your bolts ons with a programmable ECU then you would with a NEO

since the NEO cost list price 470

Hondata base S200 costs list 295

you can get a Hondata S200 dyno tuned for the price of a neo, still don't know why Honda owners get those things.

would rather people get this hunk than get p28 or p72 an run a basemap thinking that the chip tuned itself.

Some of the stuff that passes for "chips" is tragic.

I'd also be very surprised if anybody has actually paid list for a NEO.
