I have seen how to install the short shifter, and i think i got that under control but i got the shifter off e-bay and i think it only comes with the rod itself. Is there anything i need to go before i start to install it? Like spacers or anything new or will it fit all the stock stuff? Meaning all components under the car and the stock boot and shift ***.

 

How should we know? We have no clue what you bought, and apparently you don't either. You'll have to wait until it arrives to see what is included.

I just hope you didn't buy a cheap aluminum one, or you'll be wishing you hadn't when it breaks off in your hand . . .

My question is if you normally need to change anything when you swap tha shifters, or will all the stock stuff work with it. If you dont know, then just let me know that there us no way to tell tell i try it.
