need help I.D.'n water hose?
1991 honda crx si with b16...........................my car started to over heat.i noticed that 1 of the hoses has a leak..i need help knowing what the hose is called so i can get it at autoparts....its a thin hose thats right under the vtec solinoid and runs to the firewall..thanks for your help
It's your heater hose, it runs from your cylinder head to your heater core
. Make sure your distributor seal is not leaking oil, it is a main cause for that hose to leak (other than wear and age). basically if there is oil buildup on it then your dizzy seal and or Vtec solenoid is leaking and should be replaced as well to avoid ruining your new hose when you get it (oil weakens rubber over time and breaks it down)
*Edit* ordering a stock Si hose should work fine I am almost posistive, 92-93 GSR Integra otherwise)
