Default Honda CRX/Civic EF headlight warning

Honda Workshop on line said you could hook up a "headlights left on warning " for the CRX or EF Civicby connecting a Piezo buzzer to the two unused spade connectors housed in a small white box near the top of the fuse box and marked 1 and 2. I tried it on my 92 CRX and it seems to work, but with the lights on and engine running there is still enough current flowing through the Piezo unit to make a low steady clicking. It's quiet enough to be acceptable, but I don't want to use that hookup unless I'm certain that current flow is not damaging anything, such as the ignition module. Any advice on this? Thanks.

im not sure about that method. i do it like this.

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by Tyson &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote"> theres a combination of fuses that you bridge and just stick the bare ends of the wire into (no plug required) and will trigger just like a headlight warning.</TD></TR></TABLE>

8 is power. 18 is ground.
This way is even easier! </TD></TR></TABLE>
