Which exhaust is a better buy, and has better over all performance and sound?

your going to get more feedback for the hks seeing that is a more popular exhaust

here are some more options for you to check out http://forums.clubrsx.com/showthread.php?t=228923

is this the chris i met at my buddy's shop in roselle?

if so, i did some research and i don't think my exhuast will fit your 05-06 base unless you get the type s header? someone told me that there is and adapter as well. i dunno...

you are correct
in order to have a type-s exhaust
you need a type-s header to mate with it

or you can bring it to a shop and they can fab one up for you. better is all personal opinion, most exhausts net around the same hp gain, so then its up to looks and sound, which is entirely up to you

HKS bottlenecks so when you start doing motor works it will be restrictive, plus it melts the 05-06 factory lip.

lol to clarify the 60mm bottlenecks.
the 65mm does not bottleneck but is 65mm OD instead of ID.

i just installed HKS HiPower last weekend. 1/2 hour done. sounds superbad! can hear vtec now. stock airbox though with mugen drop in. one problem, is it me or does it have a hanger look to it? and does anyone's pipe go out the the right a little? my friend welded on a new hanger mount on the frame to position the outlet dead center of the bumper cutout and with enough clearance to not melt the bumper. my bumper got bubbled on the bottom, no worries, aspec body kit covers that up. this forum is pretty cool. thanks for the heads up fellas.

i heard you can push your header back a bit to get the tip to stick past the bumper ... wasnt sure if it was true but my friend said we could use the lift over at his place to try it out ...

then how does the header stay back? there's a natural tendency for things to return to the state they were at rest.
