Default Shaking in the rear when accelerating. Need Help!

Like the title says my MY00 S2k is shaking in the rear when i accelerate, it just started happening about a couple of days ago. I do have clutch buzzing when the car deccelerates, but i know thats somewhat normal. The only thing i can think of is the driveshaft due to the car being low(but car is only lowered on skunk2 springs). The shaking is only noticable at about 40+ mph. help me out!

bent wheel, unbalanced wheels, crappy tire wear, recent alignment???

any of those could be causing this...i had the same prob and my right rear wheel was out of round. got new wheels no more vibration.

Check tires pressures, alignment, CV joints, and re-torque the axle nuts to 220 lb/ft.

That could be the problem. Monthly checks are the key.

retorque your lug nuts. it's free and it might be the problem (probably not, but it's still free)

well to fix the problem when my girlfriend starts to shake in the rear... i just accelerate more... this usually fixes the problem... if not just put some fluid on her back and she'll stop shaking for sure...

on a serious note... def check the lugs, rims, tread and what everyone said above... let us no how it turns out...

its the axles. same thing happend to me. you can either buy new ones or switch the inner shadts from left to right. thats what i did. no more vibration.

I would mainly check the alignment, torque of bolts, and axels. most of the other suggestions you should be able to feel all the time(0-40 mph).
