RSX spray-paint!!
I know this question might be out of place, but I will apreciate at least one answer.
Im buying the lip kit and wing (type R) for my White RSX and I was wondering if there is a Spray paint that would match or even come close to the color of my car. The thing is, I dont want to buy factory paint from a shop, I just want a color in a can to match, just for the lips and stuff.
If anybody knows, let me know... will be really helpfull.
BTW: my car is a White pearl kind of looking on the RSX-S 02-04

you know, some times a color looks like it on the cap... when you paint, it looks a lot different.

It's going to look very ghetto if the color is not exact. Some people paint them black, and IMO this looks ghetto as well--especially on a white car.
I'd save up and have a bodyshop do it properly.

then why the expletive are you asking about spray paint then. try this:
1. get some white gloss spray paint from home depot
2. put like 5 coats on
3. find some rattle can clear coat and put on 2 or 3 coats of that
4. shotgun a bottle of aspirin in your bathtub
you and your ricer friends will never know the difference

Jeez. It's hard for a body shop to match PWP. I have the OEM kit (PWP) and it doesn't even match the cars paint. I did have a body shop color match the fogs and they did a better job than Acura!

lol. Acura's Premium White Pearl paint is a 3-stage process when a body shop applies it. You seriously think the people at Home Depot will be able to make a paint that's anywhere close?
Take the parts to a bodyshop, period. Don't be ghetto.

Nobody notices until I point it out. Estimate to paint match/strip/repaint bumper cover - $500.</TD></TR></TABLE>
$500 is too much to just spray a bumper--do the prep work yourself and only get the items sprayed.
Also, the RSX is a pearl. You'll be able to notice that something from a $4 can of walmart paint won't match.

No offense but, if it was me I would gladly hand over the $500 and have it be factory matched and painted. That "white" looks dull and isn't even close to the brilliance of the original white paint.

interesting thread, if you want it to match closely, you CANT rattle-can it, i man maybe if the car was a single stage no pearl white like a ford pickup or something, but its not, cuz acuras are the ****, 3stage...
if you reaaaly have to there are threads on DIY paintingbuy you'd still have to buy paint from acura, and not expletive up
like my car, which is a 3stage candy, black/hella blue flake/clear, you are boned when it comes to DIY painting

To me, it looks like crap. Why buy a 20g car and not use quality products?

It looks like a $5 job...so I don't get your point. We have enough EFs and EGs running around with mis-matched bumpers and fenders. Those were $9000 cars, new. The RSX-S was a $25K car new.
If you can't afford to do the mod correctly, then why do it at all?
