inlinefour.com has them, but I've heard some things about them dealing in illegitimate business.

Read this before diving into business with them.

7k for an overhaul on that one site. 300+ for an oil pan. Spoon is nice as heck, but super expensive. Major *Bling* points... I love yellow

Actually, when you consider that you're getting a brand-new motor and that it's been balanced and blueprinted, the cost isn't all that unreasonable compared with what a long-block would cost from Honda or Acura.

you can get a reputable machine shop to blueprint and balance the motor for ya, especially here in socal, as long as you dont go to something like earls in the back of the el camino engine building specialties you can get away with a better build at the same rate..................

the probalem with this scene and people bitching about it being expenisive to build a honda is from people who cant do **** them selves

Can't really argue with that. On another subject, I've heard that Spoon engines don't really feel like they're as fast as they should be, even the CTR in an EG chassis. I mean, it's not supposed to be a top-fuel speed engine, but some Japanese drivers say that there's more to be expected from a full race Spoon engine.

Is there any particular reason, or are you focusing mainly on the brand name?

Why would you even consider wanting one? Giant waste of money.

I can think of a million better ways to spend that money.

But if it's what you want, then uhh, go for it.
