For a short while at least. I have decided to start tearing down my motor and prepare to build.

My plans include:

TWM ITB's
P & P the head
JE 12.5:1 85MM Pistons
GE 85MM Sleeves
Eagle Rods
Some kind of new valves... Ferrea or Manley most likely
Hondata Stage 4
Possibly a different header
Toda Clutch
Toda Flywheel
Quaife LSD
PE Timing Belt

Right now I have:
JUN 3 Cams, springs, retainers, cam gears
JUN Header
JUN Ecu
Stock everything else on a 96-97 JDM ITR

Also, What do you guys think about 3" piping? Will this affect performance in a good or bad way?

What kinda power do you think this could throw down with a GOOD tuner?

I have been wanting to do this for a while now, the time is finally here

With a build-up like that, you might wanna think about a Standalone like DFI7 or the AEM instead of Hondata.

Has anyone hasd good luck tuning the Hondata with ITB's?

the hondata wont be able to really manage the itb's as good as u would like, i would recomend dfi if ur gonna use them

hondata will be fine, dfi is good but a pain in the *** to wire/setup, and the aem isn't that much better in an all motor appilcational

 

buy my haltech...it has a plug and play interface box to use stock wiring harness

 

hondata should be fine ...we managed to run it on a 10 second turbo car with no problems ...shouldnt see why it would be a problem in your case ...good luck with your build up ...
