couple pics of the car:

gutted big time , 12 point cage in it. supposedly weighs in at 1500 lbs , wow , this thing will smoke with that engine in it. its too bad he didnt have some valvetrain so he could run those toda cams. there too big for typeR train.
heres some more pics , getting there. hes still missing a few parts , i robbed every piece and bolt i could off the engines and parts i have around here , lol. we need 14mm half shaft bolts. they are different than your normal 14mm bolt. he needs the long alternator bolt and nut. he needs a short 14mm bolt that holds the breather box on the back of the block. he doesnt have the brace that holds the IM to the block , but he can get away without that i suppose. he doesnt have an oil pickup or baffle plate , im pretty sure they are all the same and i have a pickup and bafle plate for an LS engine here. anyways , the problem i was having with bearings was this , they came back from machine shop with 2 of the caps on the wrong rods and they arent numbered , marked , *** all. it was the slight color difference that finally gave it away. so its good to go , torqued and almost ready.

after i went at the badges with progressively fine sand paper

stole timing covers and stuff i had to finish it as stock as i could

yea those pistons dont look stock. the rods look stock but not the pistons. eagle cranks are pretty good i have used there 95mm stroker crank for b18 and i loved it but then again i had the entire assembly balanced. 85mm bore 95mm stroke was a beast of an engine.

All that work and no valve train? Bigger cams would really wake the motor up, but it should still be a fun ride

no one failed to mention or ask about the compression...those pistons was said to be 11.5 comp...man they look similar to ctr pistons to me but just reworked on the mill...so maybe they are 11.5 cr...who knows but looks sick...

all i was saying is why use a eagle crank and stock rods and pistons{not honda but still cast}. i thought that maybe there was a reason for it i wasnt aware off,so i asked since i love to learn new things. when i say stock i meant a cast piston. when somebody starts a post off directed to me with are u blind i get defensive,as would anyone. i dont want to trash this thread cause it looks like a killer setup that deserves props. now lets see some #'s
