Was driving around today in Florida's horrendously hot weather and my car died at a stop light. Never done that before. Easily started back up and was idling fine.

Then later that night when it was cool out I went out to wal mart and when I went to leave I started up my car and my lights where flickering like my alternator was going bad. But after a while of driving, maybe 1-3 minutes, I was able to idle with out stalling.

What Im looking for is some possible causes to this sudden stalling issue. And please tell me its not the alternator... ;_; I might cry if you do.

 

i had a battery do that to me before........but it could also be the alternator
