need a one piece minitec fiberglass front end as well? its still in the crate.

I'm ALLMOTOR1 on 16vminiclub

this motor isn't what those guys are messing with...it will kick every one of their butts and that includes a new unbuilt k20 and then some.

Pm me if your really interested. I have pretty much everything but the kit

I'll be using Minitec's MTB2 subframe so I won't need to extend the front end... I'd probably want an LS tranny instead of the ITR tranny too due to gearing problems with 13" wheels but I suppose I wouldn't have too much trouble selling it if you didn't want to part out. The only problem is I live in Minnesota so I wouldn't be able to come get it... I didn't see the "local pickup only" in your first post. My S/N is the same on 16vminiclub (Ironraven)

i did a little search on the other drivetrains your inquiring about...your definitely looking for a bargain...i'm not near those numbers. maybe your better off going for the stock b20 you were looking at.

regarding the gearing....people are definitely too worried. there are a few things you can do. Instead of trying to stretch out first gear...simply start in second and go with a slightly taller tire(i'm able to with the one piece front end). Gear ratios or use of them can be changed with tranny or with tire height

I'm looking for a bargain if it's stock... I don't want to spend 200-300 more for an engine if I can get the exact same thing elsewhere for less. It just makes sense.

As far as gearing is concerned, I'm not worried about launching nearly as much as I'm worried about revving at 6-7k rpms on the freeway. This car will be my daily driver. It's a LOT less expensive to use an LS tranny than to modify an ITR tranny, especially when the ITR's are sought after by honda tuners whereas the LS's are routinely sold for next to nothing.
