Default how to tell OBD2

alright guys i know this guy online that says he has a ls head from a 96 integra, i haven't seen it yet but...it has the older ls valve cover on it he says and i'm gonna go meet up with him and check it out. My question is, what should i look for to know that it is truly Obd2? Engine code numbers i should be looking for or what?

look at the number after the casting #,im not sure what the number is on ls's but on a gsr it would be p72-2 compared to p72-1, and theres another set of #s with a line threw them that can be seen what year it is
