Default 4x100 Corrado rotors with ITR calipers?

Well... I read on here that they fit... so I ordered a pair to try out. I just got them and I've got a question. When measured from the wheel mounting surface to the back face of the rotor, I get 1.551". When measuring a Fastbrakes redrilled rotor I get 1.880" for the same measurment. This leads me to believe something is not right, as I doubt the calipers are going to adjust for that much difference in the rotor moving outboard.
I ordered Corrado G60 rotors (pre 1992 I believe). Whats going on here? I dont think a spacer would necessarily help, since I need the rotor to move further inboard.
Aside from that measurment, the rotors compare just about evenly.... so the only issue is whether or not there's enough travel in the caliper floating assembly to take up the distance.
Help?

The only reason I measured it is because it looked way off. I'm going to try and make em fit tomorrow.... we'll see what happens.

i tried it over the winter and its been tried in the past. it don't work. the offset of the vw rotor is wrong. the vw rotor works with a fastbrakes 11" kit and wilwood caliper. the caliper location in that kit is differant from the oem itr set-up.
-spenc....has vw rotors sittin in the garage

do you think the vw rotor would work with a willwood 11 inch brake kit? Rotors are expensive.

Help?</TD></TR></TABLE>

The Fastbrakes redrilled rotor is from a prelude vtec.... but its meant to be used with 4mm (about .16") milled off of the caliper bracket... so the problem here is that you've measured a .329" difference between the two rotors, which only makes up for half of that. I've never actually measured how much travel the caliper has on the slide pins, but kinda trying to visualize it it seems like there might be enough travel. Maybe if it doesn't work you could have a set of 4mm shims machined to go between the caliper bracket and the knuckle to move your caliper out the rest of the way to center the rotor... anyone else have an opinion on that? Because I've been running the milled-bracket accord wagon caliper/ redrilled Brembo lude rotor combo for 9 years now and I have to say that I really wouldnt mind being able to slap a locally bought off the shelf rotor on there once in awhile!
