Suggestions on cleaning calipers.
Yes, I read the thread about PB Blaster.
I picked up a used caliper from a junk yard today, and the damn thing looks like its been through hell and back twice. It has all type of gunky crap on it, as well as rust inside the piston. It has a working money back guarantee so I dont feel too worried. Also, the rubber grommet between the piston and caliper looks real bad and kinda wrinkled. Is this ok? What suggestions do you have to clean this damn thing up? Will degreaser and a wire brush do the trick?
Cliff notes: How do I clean up a shitty looking junkyard caliper?

I used a 6" grinder with a brass wire brush wheel on them and it took them down to bare metal with minimal effort.
