Default h23 crankshaft in a h22a4 block?

i have a h23 crankshaft with 50mm mains. is there any customization to make it fit in the h22a4 block with 55mm mains? thanks.

not unless you have 5 mm shims, haha. Why don't you look into the f23a crank? IIRC it has 55 mm mains

you gave me a second thought. what do you guys think?

option 1: use my h23 crankshaft and find a h22a1 block for it.
option 2: sell my h23 crankshaft and find a h22a4 block and f23 crankshaft.

the option 2 does give me more stroke but i think it will be pretty hard to find that f23 crankshaft. please help. thanks.

What's wrong with the stock crank? Why do you want to change it?

Isn't there clearance issues with the oil squirters in the H22 with an H23 crank?

Isn't that bad?
Why couldn't you just use a longer rod, then change the piston, according to clearance?

I'm kinda talking out of my *** right now, messed up on all kinda medicine from the doctor so just humor me. :/

I don't see why Honda would put something like oil squirters there the way they are for no reason. In this case, isn't the XX>98 H22 and H23 bare block the exact same? If so, then wouldn't it be more practicle to do an h23 vtec hybrid?

you still use them, they are just bent so everything clears.

If you're talking about using that crank you posted pictures of before, I'd say you need to sh*t can that thing and get a new crank. Quite a few people have told you that using that crank is just asking for trouble.

It would be less difficult and most likely cheaper to do option 1, however, granted you have alot of money the second option would be pretty cool. Surely someone has done it before, anyone?

What happened to that awesome knife-edged crank you had?
