have 1st gen rex, with ew4...............can anyone tell me what ecu i have stock. also can another be swapped in to give better fuel and stuff?

 

I believe the stock ECU in the 1G CRX Si is the PA7. The Integra PG7 from the 86-87 Integra will work, but I am not sure if the Integra uses larger injectors or not. You must use the 86-87 ECU because the 88-89 ECU is designed for a distributor with electronic ignition advance. The 86-87 uses vacuum advance just like the 1G CRX Si.

will the pg7 give any performance increase or are they just the same old ecu???
