Default 88-89 Integra header on ZC?

I know you can run an 88-91 Civic header made for an SOHC on the ZC. But I've read everywhere that you have to port match it because the ports don't line up. To my knowledge the 88-89 Integra motors and the JDM ZC are very similar. Are the bolt patterns the same? Will I have to port match it at all? I also need to know if it'll bolt up to my stock exhaust. Can anyone give any input that has tried the 88-89 Integra header (DC Sports, Pacesetter, w/e) on their ZC swapped civics/crxs?

I am not 100% sure, but I believe all D series and ZC have the same exhaust manifold stud pattern, the intake manifolds between D16a1 and the others are Definitely different.

I know they have the same stud pattern and everything. I'm not really trying to do any port matching unless I have to. Does anyone else know?

take the manifold gasket and put it up to the header to see how far there off. as long as its close i would'nt worry about it

it will bolt right up to the head without any port matching, however, it will not bolt up to your stock exhaust

So I guess I'm better off just getting a SOHC header and port matching it then. Thanks guys.

Its not the same,The head studs should match up if it's a stock 88/89 manifold the flange for the cat is different for sure all you need to do is cut the flange at a muffler shop,As for it to bolt right on NO but as for it to work it should with some MODS thats for sure...

Even the stock 88-91 civic ex manifold has to be mod alittle to work right it need to be grinded some...

But over all it should work...

Yes. It takes just a few minutes with a dremel tool. No big deal.
