OMG what a mess. I cant stand it when people just let a car sit in the weather
with no cover and then keep working on it as it slowly goes to ****.

Please save that car.

dont tuck them through the fender. what if you need to do some wire work down the rd? do through the inside . heres mine . nothing went through the fender.

Tucking them behind the fender instead of through the framerail also brings up its own problems, at least it did in my case.

Corner lights were a squeeze to get in

Fender liner didn't sit properly.

Tuck em through framerail.

it fits perfect where the charcoal used to reside. lol.

took me like 5 hours i think. if that . I just had to extend the started wire, at the same time I did the batt relocation so the + was extended of course. the engine harness wires simply went in through the hole the ac hoses came out of . the ac unit under the dash is gone and thats where the fuse box is now. the resistor box is on top of the ALT. and the wires run on the inside above the crank pulley . I rewrapped em all. the pass. side wires run under the mount and behind the headlights. ill get a thread goin soon.

I cut the harness off. i dont think any of my grounds are missing.

it's a good idea until someone wacks your car on the side. then shorting out your wiring.
oh well it's the chance you take for perfection.

i ran all my wiring through the fenders then shortly after got slammed by a truck. no problems at all.

anyway my line of work is electrical engineer/wiring technician so im always running wire through tight areas, and for a crx running through the fenders is the best way.

1. put battery in trunk
2. pull fuse box/starter wiring back through the fire wall
3. run headlight/fan wiring through fenders
4. pull resistor box and master cylinder wiring back through firewall. mount resistor box under dash

this is how i did it
