MPFI - will a d15b7 intake mainifold work?
Hey
I have a STD 90 civic hatch, when i brought it everything was STD except it had a D16A6 engine, it still had 4 speed and DPFI.
So now i decide to do the MPFI swap, got everything needed and started following the online guides, i get half way through when i realize the intake manifold & throttle body is not from a D16A6.
I search and find the Intake manifold is from from a D15B7.
My question is will the D15B7 manifold/ throttle body etc work on a D16A6?
Please help.
Thanks

as long as its a d series it should work. There might just be some coolant lines that you might need to plug because your engine won't have the plugs to them. I'm doing the same swap right now and i took the intake mainfold from a 92 lx and i have a 89 ls throttle body along with a 94 dx fuel rail with 89 ls injectors and a resistor box from an accord. All seems to be working fine expect now my car is giving me ecu codes 4 and 10! Running in limp mode, SUCKS! So good luck with the swap! All i can say is be patient with those pins! Let me know how it goes!

Yes it will work, it is pretty much the same intake manifold, you will have to get a PM6 distributor and PM6 ecu and add wires for the fuel injectors to your existing engine harness, you have to do re-pin once you do the ecu, good luck!
