Default H22 in an Accord..?

Hey guys,

my friend is set on getting an H22 for his Accord. He will be ordering in within the next 2 weeks. I was just curious as to what kind of power he can expect out of that motor, and what kind of 1/4 mile times he can expect with a decent driver... Info would be great. Thanks!

let me be your smiling angel of mercy for you today as i am in a decent mood, and will not beat you over the head requesting that you make use of the SEARCH FUNCTION that might have most easily answered your question that has been asked many more times/headaches than i wish to count:

power output with be the same as..... you guessed it,
the same year lude it came from depending on mods

times will be anywhere beetween a high 14 and a mid 15 depending on driver/mods/state of the motor and state of tune.

thank you drive through

You know, something we did on IS300.net would work wonders here... every forum has a stickied topic that listed the FAQ for that topic... it contains all the commonly asked questions and a ton of other info that can be viewed all in one spot.

ive asked the admins, the other forums have that esp the prelude forum/forced induction etc...
I have asked for many sticky's repeatedly, and have been snubbed, to make matters worse alot of the archives dont exist anymore

Consider this thread hijacked. This is now the personal chat thread of me and Misa.

Sorry, I thought you'd be off work by now. Anyway, if we can compile some good info I could build the pages and host it on my site... kinda ghetto to have to make it external but if the admins don't want it, what else can we do? Wear out the letters on our keyboards from explaining the same things repeatedly?

I was thinking more along the lines of Accord performance stuff... the other forums can fend for themselves. Anything we find out on doing eclipse turbo hybrid work would be good too, and suspension setups, etc, etc.

I also have a friend doing the same thing, although, he's getting Jap-Spec... therefore, I'd also like to know what kind of 1/4 mile times he'd be running. (and yes, I did do a search, but so far I haven't found anything Jap-Spec) TIA

Dude, wtf is your problem? It's a simple question, maybe I'm not as talented or experienced as you are (close to 10000 posts) and that's why I decided to start a new topic. SUE ME! Slow your role!

go ahead boy keep playing with fire

and most people pretty much know that the h22a1 is underrated from the factory putting close to 200 at the crank

and ps is not equal to hp wonderboy 1 ps = .98 hp's
which means 220ps = 215.6 hp's
do the math, the reading and the reaserach son

tell me what ps means and what unit its measured in

My bad guys, I never post in the Accord forum, didn't think to search... Thanks for the help though. I too think that the sticky FAQ would be a good idea.

PS x 0.9863 = HP

Sounds like your a little powerhappy... I'm here asking a simple question, because I had no luck in doing a search... EXCUSE ME for not having any luck. Maybe I did it wrong? Maybe I'm a fricken idiot... Dude, not need to get hot. I just got irritated to see that while I'm trying to get help, I get sarcasm & flamed instead. Put yourself in my shoes man. This is all I have to say, sorry for getting you upset (even though I didn't do anything wrong).
