i just installed an aem intake system on my 94 accord 2.2 vtec.ended up with a left over sensor that was connected to the lower airbox.the intake is sucking in air, but it seems like it should be louder. what did i do wrong??

 

your intake is not supposed to suck in "a lot" of air while idling. & isn't real loud.

 

is it sopsed to be loud for a several seconds then calm down?

I don't see why it would do that unless it was a cold start and the engine was in high idle. Or if something is missing and it's surging?

 

hahah

it'll only be "loud" under throttle and it really shouldn't be that incredibly loud, it's mostly just for your engine to breathe more easily

 

maybe you need to drop your pants, whip it out and grab her by the throttle body??

lol seriously it's supposed to do a little vacuum sound while at idle. the real fun starts when you get your engine at operating temp and floor it..
